I had read some reviews on how they received their pedestals damaged so I was a little reluctant to order these through Amazon but because of my overall good experience with Amazon I went ahead and ordered them. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I love shopping with Amazon and I will never go anywhere else. There prices are good and they stand by their products. They are the best.

We bought the LG washer and dryer on black friday 2009 without the pedestals and they are really great units. But my wife has complained that the bending over to get clothes in and out of the doors was getting to her back. So, I found the best price for the pedestals on Amazon. Ours were delivered by the Price Pros in perfect condition. My brother-in-law helped me to install them and my wife is very happy. Since they raise the washer and dryer by 15", we had to shorten the dryer vent line (mine travels up) and shorten a shelf unit that hangs above the dryer. Well worth the trouble. By the way, our owners manual said to get the WDP3W but that model was replaced by the WDP4W which works great.

I bought them because they were exactly the height that I needed as we have overhanging cabinets above and reasonably priced. They arrived in excellent condition except one of the inside shelves had jammed one and it took hours to finally finagle the thing out of the way to get the drawer open. Then; unless you actually have and LG, I would probably not recommend this model for you. I have a complete workshop. So I have the ability to make about anything I need, but in this case it was just some careful measuring of my washer & dryer feet locations and the use of a hole saw to drill out the provided plastic brackets. We have now used them for several months and my wife really appreciates the lack of bending to save her back.
