Bought this 12v 12 watt solar panel to use to charge two 12v 7ah batteries used to operate my GTO PRO 2000xl automatic gate opener. This solar panel is working great. It keeps the batteries charged up fine, and the price of $69.95 is a good deal. I used this panel to replace a 5 watt solar panel that cost the same price, but couldn't handle the job.

I just got this thing today and it is amazing. Its cloudy, and i am getting a solid 19 volts! (@.3 amps). This is my first solar panel and i am already impressed. Might end up getting more! :)
It's a must have for anyone just getting started. As well as the Sun-force charge controller. very cheap.

The panel is nicely made. It would be nice to have more mounting options. Most important is that the panel I received has a defect in the connections between the cells. Can not get more then .65 volts output. I'll now have to go through the return proccess.
