This is a good shoe rack. it would have gotten 5 Stars if it would fit on a smaller door. When me and my wife gets a bigger house though, this shouldnt be an issue. great space saver

This shoe rack was easy to assemble and proved to be quite sturdy. It is a good compact way of storing many pairs of shoes. The only drawback is that the brackets that hang on top of the door are not designed for any door thicker than about 1 1/4 inches. The door on my mother's bedroom was more like 1 1/2 inches thick. I had to crudely re-bend the brackets to make them fit. The result was that the brackets were able to support the rack, but the re-bend made for a poor fit that would not permit the door to close. Fortunately, my mother never closes the door so the fit didn't matter. If the door you want to hang it on is 1 1/4 inches thick or less, or if a thicker door always remains open, no problem. Otherwise get something with a different means of attachment for a thicker door.

Ok, so I was a little scared to buy this because of all the people saying it falls apart easily, but I'm glad I bought it! I have wide feet, so a lot of my shoes are wide width, and I can still squeeze 3 pairs of heels on one shelf (2 wide width and 1 regular width). With flats, I can fit 4 pairs by laying them on their sides. I bump into it alllll the time and it has not fallen apart on me yet! What you want to make sure you do is this: once you've gotten all the rods into both sides of the rack, lay it one one side (not lying flat on the ground) and hammer each rod a couple of times (on a hard surface)...then turn it around on to the other side and hammer all the rods again! After I did this, they would not budge. One of the best purchases I've made all year...and it's fairly inexpensive. If you're on the fence, I'd say jump and go for it.
